1. What types of patients do you see?

I provide care for children, adolescents, and adults. My practice covers a wide range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, trauma-related conditions, neurocognitive disorders, somatic symptom disorders, and more.

I offer:

  • Outpatient consultations – assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up
  • Inpatient care – for severe or acute mental health conditions
  • Consultation-liaison psychiatry – collaborating with other medical teams for patients with coexisting medical conditions
  • Psychotherapy – including CBT, trauma-focused therapy, and supportive therapy
  • Medication management – safe and evidence-based psychopharmacology

Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) – when clinically indicated

Both in-person consultations in Durban and online consultations are available for convenience.

While I provide urgent assessments when possible, for immediate psychiatric emergencies (risk of self-harm, aggression, or severe psychosis), please contact local emergency services or present to the nearest hospital emergency department.

Yes. Online consultations are available for patients who cannot attend in person. These sessions are secure, confidential, and conducted using approved telemedicine platforms.

Absolutely. I work in a multidisciplinary framework, collaborating with psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, general practitioners, and hospital teams to provide holistic care.
